Re: Paul Madeley
Ha - One for the oldies. I was looking at buying a couple of old 'Goal' magazines for my kids on Ebay and came across this. Get a load of the tackle by that little cunt Bremner on the front cover.

Re: Paul Madeley
My memory is Leeds had a tiny squad, probably because Madley could slot in anywhere and also because they were such hard fuckers.
Harvey was the reserve keeper, Bates and Belfit were the only other players aside from Madley

Re: Paul Madeley
I remember him as a classy footballer, not like the rest of their thug team.

When I think of him I think of those little tags that Leeds wore on their socks

Re: Paul Madeley
Hopefully that won't be for a long time to come. Nutty as a fruitcake but Paul Reaney still keeps himself very fit. Been lucky to meet him a few times in the past few years.

One of the best right backs this country has ever produced.

I think when Paul Reaney passes away, he will finally be recognised as England's first black international player

Re: Paul Madeley
I was in the north bank the game he broke his leg. The tackle was up the other end but I heard the snap from 100+ yards away. Nasty.

Re: Paul Madeley
Hmm, well I'll have to disagree, he wasn't at Billy Bremner's level that was for sure
